I'd try to guestimate the weight of the lead and go off of that -- say .50-.75 a pound and the smelter goes with the lead.

TimD, like MDI, said you can use toothpaste, sometimes rubbing a piece of wood along the edges of the mold cavities will remove burs. To test for burs, lightly drag a cotton ball along the cavity and see if it gets snagged I do some things a...

Put the pressure on E-bay Lee precision had nothing to do with this. They've ALWAYS been nice to me over the years. In the future, you'll find that item are usually cheaper on Amazon, they have free return shipping and better customer service.

Not long ago, I was riding with a friend who recently passed this world, and he commented, "Look at that rainbow! Have you ever seen colors that bright?" I'd been noticing it, too, and simply commented, "Yeah. It's a shame folks have gotten so in...

If any of us started listing all the things we have to be thankful for, we'd be here forever! Or at least for a lot of years! I am humbled every time I start to try to count my many, many, many blessings. I'll never be able to list or count them...

I've heard of people drilling all the way through, taping both sides and using a longer screw. So far I haven't had to do that. I Always start filling the 6 cavity mold on the pivot end, I feel this will put less pressure on the screw by not...
