Anyone loading cast for this in something other than an AR? Always seemed to me like the .25-20 loaded with a lead, flat nosed bullet at low to moderate velocity ought to be the ultimate small game rifle. Alas, rifle in it are rare and the brass...

There was a thread about these in the single shots forum. I like the looks of them, a guy can never have two many single barrel shotguns, the darn things seem to multiply inexplicably around here, LOL. Seriously, it would be great to have a 20...

I got a bunch cheap at a gun show many years ago. Have used most of it up, but it's a very versatile powder and meters well too. I probably did ue it in 9mm but mainly remember .38 Special and .45 ACP.

Baja, Thanks for the input. I really didn't want to end up with a Beta by ending up with something that wasn't going to work right. The first good day we get I plan to do a test run with the new pot using one of the plumbers pot burners I already...

Watching. My preference for the cavities especially would be Evaporust. If blasting were the only choice I would tend toward baking soda rather than bead.

There is a herd of over a hundred that stays in the highway right of way on the Alcan in Northern British Columbia. They roam back and forth for probably close to 100 miles and will sometimes bed down on the asphalt as it is a little warmer, makes...

The first buffalo meat I wound up with was from an older bull that a friend killed. The meat was tough, but still had a very good taste to it. I have since gotten it from younger animals, and it is just plain good eating.

Mine works well. Lyman is discontinuing the model. Prices have dropped. Lyman will soon cease backing this product with parts and support. I suggest you buy if you can get it for half or less of retail. Lee's classic cast turret may be a better deal...

Biography:
I became disabled last year, and as a result I am no longer able to drive and really don't get out of the house very much. I was going stir crazy so I decided that I still had a love for guns so I decided to start reloading. I have a little range set up here on my farm and I am able to go down to my shooting table and do some plinking. I then decided that I wanted to go to that next step and try to cast my own boolits, so here I am.
