I got my master reloading kit in 1985. The press is a Rockchucker II not a plain Rockchucker. I'm sure many comments here are based on the RC II. So I have to ask. What's the difference between a RC and a RC II? Motor PS: That's what I get...

I haven't had any issues but what do you guys think about putting rice in the powder? People use it all the time to dry out cell phones and stuff that got wet. I wonder if it would work. You could even put it in a little cloth sack. Motor

Yes. You can use a soda can gas check on a plain base bullet. If you are interested in this contact PatMartin (he posted above). Motor

I haven't tried to purposely cause a failure yet but I honestly have not seen a true need for any gas checks since I started using powder coating. I'm shooting a alloy that is between 12-15 bhn with a round producing at least 30k psi and the...

You really need to test to know. There is no rule set in stone. I powder coat all my cast boolits. Personally I have not found the need to GC any pistol bullets. My 440gr .501 are designed for GC but shoot great without them. Rifle is another...

Thanks guys. There were only a couple stick on ones in the entire bucket so it must be the aging thing. You guys are awesome as usual. Motor

Today we're smelting an old bucket of wheel weights. I'm measuring the hardness of our ingots and am getting a fairly consistent 9bhn. I'm not complaining but I have always thought wheel weights were like 13bhn. What do you guys say? Motor
