Looking at a winchester 92 in 44-40. Bore has been slugged and shows .424. It is a second year production rifle. I believe the reason its still sitting on the shelf is due to the .424 bore size? So was wondering what boolits one would use in...

Try neck sizing the brass. Thats what I do with my Uberti win 1873 copy. That alone has made a big difference in the blowback and smudged cases.

Lymans 452664 works well in my uberti 1873 rifle. Feeds well, has crimp groove, and carrys plenty of lube for BP and smokeless.

I traded into a Marlin 1895CB in 45-70 a few months ago. It came with some custom made ammo, jacketed and lead 405grn in the 1800fps range. Took it for a spin and after 10 rounds my shoulder was screaming! I put the thing in the back of the safe,...

If you don't need it now, buy online. Had a cracked plastic radiator in my chevy cavalier, local stores $180+ depending on who it was. Found it online for $50 shipped, had it within 3 days. Funny part. It's the same supplier for a few of the box...
