43PU I have two 300 B.O.s a Handi rifle and an AR upper, neither will accept a bullet who's nose is larger than .301 and that's tight. I either shade the noses of the bullets when I powder coat them or nose size using the Noe system. Gp

Yup. The powder coating you're using is adding to the dimension of your bullets making them too large for the chamber of that particular rifle. Gp

When you use a quality product and follow the instructions that have laid out and documented here on the Boolits threads it really is hard to mess up powder coating. LOTS of powders work well doing the "shake and bake" a few don't. For the powders...

Hi Scott. I have the Lyman EZ-Trim for both pistol and rifle but until now I was unaware there was one for shotgun hulls. I'll probably have to have one of those too. LOL I do have the BPI Trim Doctor II and yes it can be sort of a pain. I also...

Hello to all. I freely admit to being a gadget freak and love to look through the reloading offers on E-bay. I just received my newest purchase today. It's a 12ga. hull trimmer from www.loadertools.com. the device is a three-D plastic print of a...

I actually did some casting today, have wanted to for some time. Small pile of RCBS 45-300 FN rifle boolits and some SAECO #351 200 grain FN plain base. Going to PC all of them soon as I get more. 45 For my 45 wildcat. And 35's for my Whelen.

MSM: Well, It's not like we checked the #s for year of manufacture but the store is new this month and the box the Mossy was shipped in was there and looked brand new so I'm thinking it's a newly shipped gun. Doesn't matter anyway so not worth...

So far it seems Al (NOE) has stayed away from slug and round ball moulds. I also wish he would consider making them as I'm a big NOE fan and more than twice over $1,000 club member. All this talk about what shotgun to buy must be getting to me...

I have one of the infamous 44-40 Vaquero's with the 44 mag barrel. I had Doug Guy open the throats but the cylinder necks won't accept the loaded rounds (Doug warned me, my fault) as you know the 44-40 brass has very thin necks so no room for neck...

With your need being for the 45-70 only, I would recommend the Lyman EZ-Trim. It works much like the Lee Hand held trimmers but with a much better shell holder to grip the cases. I use mine with a battery operated drill and have the different length...

In comparing your 410 to rifle loads I've always found the slower powders to be a much better choice. Shoving the bullet (slug) into the rifling about .010" and letting the bullet slowly (relative) gain velocity in the bore usually works much...

I believe it would be best to pull them all somehow. If I were to shoot them, I'd Do as TBG suggests and drill the HP larger and fire them in my Handi Rifle. Lots of folks making 357 Max out of those rifles. Gp

The two most accurate rifles in my safe are Remington 700s. My 25-06 is a jewel. It's about 20 yrs. old. That said my last two Remington rifle purchases have been pure junk and that's being generous. I'll not buy another. Gp

After several bad experiences with Remington in the last couple of years , they are the LAST company I'd spend money with. They have no Q.C. and a bad attitude about fixing things that they send out knowing it's not right. I'm DONE with Remington. Gp
