A group of us, all long time friends, chartered a boat in the British Virgin Islands for two weeks. If it sounds exotic it's just camping on the water rather than on land. Admittedly, the scenery is nice. There were two couples, one of which had...

I have a couple of safes and the house has an alarm system installed. We will be bouncing back and forth between our existing home and the new one for at least a couple of months so wherever the guns are stored they will be unattended at times,...

Thanks for the suggestions! The homeowner's company will issue a rider but they're the most expensive so far, even more than NRA. I don't have a lot of really collectible firearms; mostly more ordinary guns that are shooters but there are a few...

Mounted flat end forward those wadcutters will cut a .357" or so plug out of the recipient. On varmints that's a pretty good hole without expansion. Even on semi-wadcutters the square shoulder will cut blood vessels and bone.

Didn't see this mentioned but could have missed it. The original 6.5x55 FMJ was an extremely long bullet with straight sides and a round nose. Nothing anywhere near its case size has a bullet that sticks out nearly as far. The 6.5 Sil looks like...

I would also consider if you bought 100 or 1000 pieces. Twelve pieces short is a huge percentage on a 100 piece purchase but an understandable error on 1000 or more pieces.

The Little Dandy and Lyman 55 are very good. If you can find an old Saeco with the micrometer adjustment they're extremely precise; far better than the Uniflow. I have all of them and the Saeco is my favorite.
