The best locks took a jump up to $175 now. The last plain Jane maple plank I got still ran me around $120 delivered.

When inletting, although you see marks at the top edge of the inlet, be absolutely sure you have all lower contact areas dealt with first. If you take off the top of the inletting, you will find you were removing false marks, and end up with gaps.

It couldn't hurt. Even on custom actions,I have had to blueprint the bridges just to level them. Expecting a military of commercial action to be "on", is very unlikely to happen. Look at the thread, "Joni Lynn's Mauser", and the extent I had to take...

A similar tactic works here in Montana if you get in trouble over on the east side. Find a missile silo, toss a rock over the wire, and you have company in a short time. Lots and lots of company.

We use 7% burger when making meatloaf. Adding ground pork, Italian sausage, or pork sausage adds enough fat to hold it together well.

what I found with scrap yards is they try to price lead high but if im buying a couple hundred lbs and make them a FAIR offer they usually jump. Lead is very heavy for volume like we all know and for them to transport it cost them a lot more then...

ive got a 696 too and love the thing so my itch is scratched too. I have had dave build me two old model 357s into a 41 mag and a 44 special. he also cut the barrel and case hardened my 4570 cowboy. One other thing he did that was cool is he back...

like was said here. Just find the powder drop that gives you the flair you want and it will do the same thing as the M die. For example my 32 mag powder drop bushing flares 30 cal rifle rounds just fine.

nope and no worry about abdurating either. If the bullet is sized to your bore which means anything over .308 there is absolutely no need for it to bump up to fit anything. If that wasn't true you sure wouldn't get accuracy out of jacketed 308...

300 bo hands down for a factory chambered round. A few wildcats fit the bill too. 762x39 is hit and miss. Some guns (like the one I had) were way to finiky even with jacketed reloads. Heck even factory steel bullet wolf. But if your gun runs well it...
