    smith and Wesson, howa and vanguards for a time were the same thing. Only thing different today is weatherby still uses the howa action on there vanguards but uses there own barrels. I had an early howa and a smith and both shot real well.

    I have an early one and like it. Go to Hornadys FAQ section and find the instructions on adjusting trickle speed and trickle start time. Like you say, by playing with these adjustments, you can get very good results with this dispenser....dale
