Would be nice to shoot ~10 of each batch/brand across the chronograph to get some data.

hard starts at air cooled ww to me and even that in a good gun is soft if you want the ultimate in accuracy. When I shot comp I casted most of my bullets for matches out of 5050 ww/lino that tested out at 17-18 bhn and that was for low pressure...

If I may, I believe that's more likely a Modern Bond mold. Cramer 2 cavity molds generally had the alignment pins between the cavities, and almost all of the Cramer designs I've seen had either rounded lube grooves, or at least a useful draft. The...

The more I look at the ram, the more I think it might be for an old SAS swaging press, or at least, a knock-off of one. I had one of the presses with threads that probably would have fit your other dies, but I sold it several years ago. Some of...

I lap, degrease with naptha, dust with rosin and use blue Loctite on base screws and ring screws. I've had the internals of scopes recoil loose, but never had a scope move in the mounts. Then again I don't have a .416 YMMV

Have you considered Bench Mark? A had one of their barrels put on a Ruger action. I had it chambered for 221 FB. It`s the most accurate barrel I have. Price is comparable to Pac Nor...dale

bca get mixed reviews. They had a big shake up not long ago for hiring illegals to put guns together. It made a lot of buyers angry. I buy most of my ar stuff at palmetto but do have one Davidson defense upper and its every bit as good as the...

for the most part in a given cartridge barrel length really doesn't play much of a role in which powder works best. Take something like an o6 that does real well with 4350. It will do well with 4350 whether the barrel is 16 in or 26 inch.

I used pr200 surplus for probably 10 years. Fell in love with the stuff. When the supply dried up I went to aa2 (same thing) Meters perfectly, burns clean and is economical. Wish I could find about 50 more lbs of pr200 like when we got it for 50...

like was said copper is harder then any pc so its going to wear a barrel faster then a pc'd cast bullet or for that matter any cast bullet. Then factor in the sks and aks and ars that are fed a diet of steal jacketed bullets. Pc is a non issue.

there you go. A bullet bumping up or changing its shape in anyway is a bad thing not a good thing. Yup its might help in a poorly built gun with poor tolerances but in a good gun why would you want your bullets to swell or change shape knowing they...

I buy the 10lb boxes. No consistency what so ever but I get them on sale for 16 bucks a box so that a buck sixty a lb compared to 4 or 5 bucks a lb so I can live with different sized pieces.

If you keep your eyes open, you might find something pretty close to what you're looking for. Lee cataloged a 6 cavity version of their 102gn RN mold years ago. I've got one of the molds, and when I had my M11 the .380 upper LOVED that bullet.
