I'm with Bluejay. Started with a .300BO complete with black composite stocks. It is sort of become my universal donar. Everything locks up on it. So it is in a case with a 9mm stubb job and a 12 ga barrel. I have a Hipoint C9 pistol I can pair...

First off, I'm a ladle guy myself, but I don't stand. Find a low enough table so you can sit comfortably and cast for at least half an hour. A good half hour session will get you plenty of cast to play with. I can not speak to PC as I have not...

I admit it, I am a knife *****. Whats worse, I'm a cheap knife *****. Under 20$ will get my attention every time. Mora's, Opinel's, yep, in multiples and different sizes. Lately I have become a fan of the assisted open knife. Ganzo 728's,...

My grandfather was in the Border Patrol based out of El Paso Texas. There was nothing he loved more than a weekend spent hunting arrowheads and indian artifacts. Pots, baskets, etc. One weekend him and a friend found a "dry cave" out in the...

I had similar issue when I went too low with Red Dot. I did not have the chamber carbon buildup. But the first 8 rounds all had cases that were soot halfway back. Went up half a grain and no more sooty cases. Yes you can go too low...

Grandpa taught me early to walk into a patch of woods (preferably with corn field close) Find a comfortable spot, and take a 10 min nap. When you wake up don't move. Use your eyes and ears to locate active squirrels. Slowly slowly scan the area. ...

Well I agree with you, and I don't. There is a difference between a rifled shotgun barrel, shooting shotgun slugs. And a .44mag barrel designed to shoot essentially a center fire rifle. With resulting higher pressures and speeds. Which...

To be honest I think you are skating around the edge of the rules here. If a gamewarden ever looked down the barrel and saw rifling where he was expecting smoothbore I suspect you'd be in trouble. Essentially, if I am reading this right, you...

The guns that I have sold over the years are few in number, and all had something that made them totally unloved by me. Like the absolutely sweet Brazilian made .410 sxs, nice wood, awesome hand checkering. But the left barrel shot 2 feet high...

My wife has been on Codine 3 for 14 years. She got off twice. First one was a real corker. After some 3 months clean she came to me, broke down. "I don't want to live like this!" Ok, so I encouraged her to go to a PA that has long history with...

Dunno about .327 but my .32sw longs shoot great out of my Ruger NM SS. Could not ask for any better. And with 90 gr cast over 2 grains of Red Dot they truly are a pleasure to shoot. Easy on hands/wrists and ears.

Personally I much prefer to load my own with a 90 gr cast boolit and 2 grains of Red Dot. Shoots to the sights, no recoil, no muzzle blast, great accuracy. No complaints here.
