If money is involved it is no longer a hobby but work, a side job. I'm retired and proud to have made it this far. I flat REFUSE to work more than required to keep body and home in reasonable condition. And my idea of what is reasonable is degrading...

I have one and have only used the small rotor for the last 5 years. Only powder that has been in it is Red Dot. Run anywhere from 2 grains for my .32sw longs up to 4.6 grains for .357mag and various rifle loads. No complaints here.

Wife and I took our new (to us) boat out today. 16' Alumacraft deep hull, 20 hp Merc, 44 lb thrust stern mount trolling motor. Top bait of the morning was 1" Chartreuse gulp minnows on a small jig 3-4 feet below a bobber. Anchored on the edge of...

Sometimes, Don, I think more of us than we'd like to think would do what we want, and (these days) explain our conversation with God as "bad eats," and go ahead and do what we WANT instead of what we've clearly been advised and admonished to do. ...

Well, I expected to find a post on alcohol, but am pleased with this warning against rage here. It's totally out of place in this section of the forum. Boaz and I stand in one accord on this. And the problem often seems to be that some, perhaps...

#1 IMO Oldred nailed it. EDG as regards God and Evil. He does not want slaves. He has angels for that. So he gave man free will. He won't cross that line willingly. The worst you can say is that in order to let us each develop our own...

Pretty sure there is no way to swap a barrel. You can get either a 1322 with the shoulder stock which would be a pump up. Or I believe Benjamin makes a fairly close variant of the Sheridan in .22. As for me, when I saw the prices increasing on...

These were a staple in our house. Grew up in NW minnesota, farmers don't fish in summer. But they love darkhouse spearing for northern pike. Done right with good fish and properly aged they are hard to tell from top quality pickled herring. The...

So refinish the stock, I used true oil on my blue streak some 5 years back. Love the way it came out. Safety sticking is probably binding on stock somewhere. When you have it apart look at that area closely. Might want to relieve a bind spot...

I will also add that temperature of alloy is more of reference. Most people on here run around 700 +/- degrees. I use the Lyman dial thermometer and find i have to run around 850 +/- 50 degrees for mold fill out. If i am running straight range...

This one still has a chance. However, we still need a few more to get it into the ACTIVE area. It needs 50 cavities (1/2 of the 100 hollow point cavities that it takes for any and all HP molds to get made) to get moved to ACTIVE. The Active...

I think I only have 3 Military rifles, a pair of Mosin Nagants and a Yugo SKS. They all shoot cast, the yugo is death on whells inside of 50 yards but that is more a limitation of the shooter and iron sights than the rifle. While I enjoy...

Mine was a Yugo with the gas shutoff and the ladder sights for rifle grenades. All I did with my stock was to give it several layers of trueoil to lock in what it had. It does have a name, couple of deep pits, a burned spot and other such...

Higher pressure, faster loads need either better alloy, a darn good lube, perfect fit, or PC or a combination of several of these. Lower pressure, slower loads just need decent fit and lube. My standard mix is 50% COWW and 50% range scrap or...
