I think the model that is being referred to is a Ruger American Rifle, bolt action, that is fed with and AR mag, not an actual Ruger made AR15. How do you like that Ruger AR15 tho?

49, the whole way. You said grandkids. They are gonna need gauges and that Chevy 4 cylinder will run forever with enough power to get them out of trouble. And its sorted. Its turnkey, just maintain it. Worth the extra 5k

GF, pm replied to with most questions answered. A little more info: The prices on the lead page are up-to-date. I'm like you, I don't like surprises, and it wouldn't be fair to expect guys to read all the pages on this thread just for that info. ...

Have a CZ Redhead Deluxe that I know has more than 40k down the tube. It was my trap gun in college. Doesn't get used much these days but is beautiful and locks up as it did on day 1. You will love that shotgun. They balance very well.

We are under contract for our first house. Started packing up all my reloading stuff today. Unbelievable how much I've accumulated and I still very much want more. I get the entire basement for my new reloading/man space. It is two rooms, one mostly...

RCBS 27-150 from member Hornady in the Swap n Sell. Came with 1k gas checks and a 278 H&I die. Hoping to get .280 out of it. Anybody know what theirs drops?

The Accurate 358-120B is a perfect copy of the Lyman 356402 boolit but it drops bigger and 5 at a time. The truncated cone will feed in just about anything. Beautiful mold and rains boolits. I also use the Elco boolit from NOE. It has a tapered nose...

Exactly what I load with the 105swc. Super easy on an old Colt Official Police and pretty accurate. I also load 3-3.2 grains of Red Dot for the Elco 358-147grain hollow point for the 38Special.

My experience with the Ruger All American Rifles is the bolt is not smooth, there is play in it. That particular rifle shot well and was very comfortable, it was just not up to par with my Model 70. The two Savages that I have had experience with,...

Check the 'coax' *** and neg wires to the speaker or mike output. Much like phone cables, they go bad from flexing. In my experience they tend to lose volume for a short period before they go out period. If the cables test fine, get the multimeter...

A Star or Magma Lubesizer is the easiest and fastest way to do it. Look into them. I still have my Lyman 4500, but I don't use it for anything. Star gets the nod no matter the caliber.

Looks like it worked out nicely! Ive seen a Mod 70 Featherweight on Armslist here in STL and have been mulling it over. Its a perfect sibling to my 70 Shadow in 270win.

Honest question, how do you have 1700 loaded rounds from 1989? I cant keep 10k of 9mm loaded for more than a year! Do I need to step up my stashing game?

I have read that seating into the lands can cause pressure spikes. When I was determining max overall length for my 270, I actually pulled a bullet dropping powder all over inside of the action of my rifle. Seating just a little bit deeper eased...
