Nice! Any pics of the setup? Is that Lee measure a case activated measure or is it a rotating drum type like an RCBS Uniflow? I only have experience with a bench mounted Uniflow and the Dillon measures on my 550C. Interested to see how it works.

Dillon designs their presses to work with their powder measures. Dillons powder measures are designed to work with Dillon presses. The sliding bar powder drop is different than most other manufacturers which rotate. Hard to make a linkage that does...

FIX IT!! Reline and convert to 22lr. They made a million of them and no one is gonna cry about you resurrecting one from the dead, as it truly is unshootable in its current condition. And how cool are those rifles? The answer is very cool. A compact...

It looks like a defect or maybe your tab that holds the pin and allows the pin to tilt and slid might be out of tune, as in it might be bent holding the pin lower in the mold. Its hard to tell. I would call NOE and email him some pics.

What about getting ahold of a loupe? You know, the jewelers magnifying eyepiece? I used one this last weekend and oh my lord you can see every little detail through it.

Thank you Pat. I understand the stress and frustration you are going through to some extent. Thank you for putting up with what I am sure is a constant barrage of emails. I know I contributed to that and your graciousness and patience is appreciated.

They sell new Small and Large handles. You can buy them separately or as a package with dies, but new dies are limited to maybe 5 or 6 calibers. If you check out cnyauctions, they have dies sets for many many more calibers. New Lyman handles are...

Im sorry, the pic I was looking at was a standard Hornet round being compared to an Ackley Improved Hornet, but the OP did describe it as looking like it was formed from a 223 case which has no rim. Meter is right, pic might help.

CDOC is correct, most bras failures come from case necks splitting or the case head separating about a half an inch above the case head. My brass shows a small line at that level from the first full jacketed load. I full length side my brass once as...

So far it has a little over 600 rounds of cast through it with one barrel scrub. I've just been running wet patches then dry patches. It might just be me but I do think it is getting better the more I shoot. Might be I'm just getting used to the...

22 hornet? Survival rifles supplied to air crews in the Air Force were chambered in 22 Hornet and the ammo was more than likely made there.

Its a reduced load. 10grains of red dot. Maybe 1500-1600fps. It doesn't get too hot. One more reason I decided to cast for it, to get lots of practice behind it.

Fired them today. Same smaller than dime size groups at 25 yards(max for my indoor range). No drop off in accuracy from start to finish. Fired as fast as I could single load and get a good sight picture. Took maybe 6 minutes to fire 36 rounds.

The 20.99 and 97.50 were prices I found for 9mm Steyr brass. Looking at the cases, 9mm Largo had a longer and deeper extractor groove. However, 9x23mm brass is almost identical to the Steyr. It is the same length as well. Difference being that one...

If Im reading this correctly, the OP is saying after the large expander button is removed from the case, the brass is springing back to almost exactly what the diameter of the boolit is. This allows the boolit to be seated without shaving. It is...

Maybe you could make it from 9mm Largo? Graf's has 100 cases of 9mm Steyr for 20.99 and Starline has 500 cases for 97.50.

Other than the brass being short, they chambered just fine. The neck brass does seem to be a little thicker. Will fire these on Sunday to test.

Before I scrapped anything, I would try to size down the boolit 5 thousandths and see what it looks like. See if the lube bands squish or if anything else deforms.
