I believe the tables have turned on caliber desirability with respects to the army special. I have 3 army specials in 38 special (4.5", 5" nickel and 6"). I then added a 5" 32-20 for less than $300 shipped but it needed some minor adjustment and...

Mixing your mixture will work fine. You don't really need to worry about wads causing harm if shot in the air. If you star crimp, you only need the slightest wad to keep the power from coming out if the little crimp hole.

I would have to believe that Williams sight makes it a joy to sight in on a target. A buttplate should be easy.

I would sure like to trade you something for those blanks that after firing, I would trim the crimp and make live ammo for my Remington Rolling block.

In a 44 mag. rifle, the most important part is knowing your range limitations and the accuracy of your gun. A 44 bullet doesn't have to be magic to do more that it already does and that is a big smack when it hits. I have yet to use a .357 to kill...

If it were myself, I would have it checked out by someone who knows what to look for in old colts to make sure it was safe, then fire some black powder loads to see if you like shooting it. A few custom ammunition makes sell black powder loaded...

22 mag. ammo has always expensive compared to 22 LR. And even so today. I does have a valid purpose, but it appears the market is served by SS, bolt and lever guns. I sure liked the way the H&R looked and I believe it still carried over some...

I have an old steel small single cavity Bridgeport mold that is stamped 38 S&W. It produces this bullet that is .359-.360 diameter and weighs 150 grains with WW alloy. It works wonderful in my bankers special Colt but I size to .358 for that gun. ...

Common here outside of Louisville, KY. I watched a couple of these for awhile until I seen the holes under my shed in my rural subdivision. So it was time to go. I was worried 22 LR would make him waddle under my shed, die and stink. So the...

Those guns are safest when fired double action. The new Colt cobra has a 8 lb. double action pull but its now made of steel and is about 22 oz.. I carry a Colt alloy agent and its 6 shots and 15 oz. But its double action pull is at least 10 lbs...

243winxb, I have a feltman carnival pneumatic Thompson looking machine gun that eats #2 shot. If you have a quantity of number 2 shot still, I would trade you ingots for it. I tried PM you but it didn't work.

I have a shot maker and while it works, its time consuming. Plenty of shotgunners that still reload. In fact I was trading clean ww ingots of 30 lbs. to another person for his 25 lb bag of shot. Both of us happy.
