You could try Deer Creek Products in Waldron Indiana, 765-525-6181. They produced the H&A underhammer actions, parts and rifle kits. Probably still do.

Does anyone clean a rifled bore with those? I was told the wire is very hard, very hard on the lands and don't reach into the grooves. They're great for smoothbores, though.

I've pressure-lapped a number of barrels, some of them micro-groove and there are some differences, but not enough to materially change the lapping regimen. I don't use very coarse grit on micro-groove rifling, generally starting with 320 silicon...

I'm Catholic and I perceived no intent to flame or inflame. The OP said it well, that it's about fellowship, discussion and comparing notes, and no harm done if there's a little humor in it. There's always something to learn or a fresh way of...

I had a few molds that sprouted some surface scale some time back. The ones with light surface rust I cleaned up with Lime-Away back when it still contained phosphoric acid. Naval jelly also contains it, but I wanted a liquid rather than a gel....

Boaz, as related by 2ndAmendmentNut, baptism can be valid, as long as it is in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, even if performed by a non-Christian. There are records of persecutors being moved to baptize those they tortured during...

Oh yeah, Catholics have no restrictions on bacon specifically. In fact, the biblical passage in 1 Corinthians 10:23-30 applies here as to what Catholics can eat. Basically, anything but that which is offered to idols. Brewer12345 is correct about...

Either one loaded to potential seems a good choice. I was running 200gr XTP out of a 5" 1911 .45 acp at 1200fps (with an 18 lb. spring, two buffers and a buffer washer to take the pounding). The .45 Super exceeds that and is a cracking beasty when...

What 35Remington said. Some years ago, I was distracted, missed a case and it led to some embarrassment at a falling plate match. The competitors were a helpful bunch and it all worked out, but it could just as easily have gone the other way. Charge...
