I am with country gent and suggest a center punch and light hammer. I did that to correct the same problem on a couple of my Lee molds. I used them for years afterward.

I have 9mm pistols in Beretta 92fs, Taurus PT92, Springfield XD-E, Springfield XD mod2 tactical, Springfield 1911, and S&W 929. The pistols I have feed well with any round nose and TC design I have tried. The 1911 have some issues with boolits that...

True. In addition you have the cost of the lead involved unless you get it free. The time it takes to cast, lube, and assemble ammo is not negligible. I will grant that a 22lr is not the same as a 38 special or 9mm if nothing else due to the bang...

So that's the designation for that mold. I have a 6 cavity version of that one and never knew what it was called since mine is unmarked. I generally shoot it with 5.5 grains of AA7. I have never chronographed it. It shoots well and is accurate....

I bought one of Boyd's thumbhole stocks for my Savage 223 and it fit fine without any adjustments needed. Shoots well also.

I agree with almost everything Petrol and Powder said. The only place I differ is my opinion of heavy for caliber boolits. For self defense the 115 and 125 grain range is very hard to beat. Since you like to shoot silhouette, the heavier boolits...

I have been using 5.0 grains of CFE Pistol under 150-160 grains boolits in 38 Special and get excellent accuracy and a bit more speed. Some of my best groups have been shot using that powder charge and the Lyman 358311. The holes aren't as cleanly...

Sounds like you found your perfect setup. That machine should work for a long time for you. That 3.5 grain Bullseye load has been a standard for a long time for good reason. I use it in the majority of my loads. When I go for full power, I switch...

Correct. The only time it makes much difference is when you go from cast to jacketed or the other direction. When you have a boolit that doesn't have data listed for that specific weight, one of the best suggestions is to use data for the next...

You may be running your boolit to deeply into the sizer. Most wadcutters only need lube on the bottom couple of grooves. Many who can shoot well enough to tell say to lube only the bottom groove.

I got a chance to shoot my neighbor's Henry in 45Colt and it was an excellent and very accurate rifle. It seemed to shoot accurately with everything we ran through it from jacketed to cast.

I purchased a new S&W 686+(the seven shot version) about 3 weeks ago. It has been to the range 3 times now. I have fired over 400 rounds through it, all of it cast boolits. I changed the grips because they just didn't work for me. I put a set of...

The only 452 diameter gas check mold that Lee makes is a 300 grain semi wadcutter. They don't make a gas check mold in a 250 grain boolit.

I actually came up with 2 different 500 grain bullet molds for this rifle. A Lee 459-500-3R and a Lyman 457125 500 grain RN. Both of these drop at .459-.460 diameter using hard lead. I water dropped them from the mold so they will be a bit extra...

I finally got to the LGS and picked up a bottle of Unique. I also have another mold coming in a 500 grain boolit. This one is supposed to cast at .460 so it should be a better choice. I loaded up a few of the Lee 340 grain boolits with Unique....

I got that part. What about when the cylinder itself is a different length? Different manufacturers make the cylinders different lengths. S&W made different length 357 mag cylinders depending on the model. The Ruger Blackhawk has a long cylinder...
