If ya clean all the other stuff out of the loading and casting area, where do ya put it??? I'm tired of moving it around. I threatened to get one of those huge dumpsters, but I couldn't keep the family divers out. Probably where much of the stuff...

I had 2 sets of dies and over 600 pieces of brass, for many years, before ever finding a 41 to play with. What in the heck took me so long? There are now several, and their my favorites. Less punishment for equal performance. What's not to love?

Experience may be the best teacher, but ya have to see some to get experience. I have found 4 pieces in many years of looking. Two of them were priced like gold, and the other two are long gone to the pot. I too have been tempted by unmarked...

Don't wait till ya need them. Pick up a couple next time you are near. And a roll of tape at the same time.

My observation is that those who learned/started with a ladle are still using it. Those that began with bottom pours are still of that persuasion. It soon becomes a habit with the method you learned first. Like many others I have purchased the...

Pour melt generously into a cleaned HOT mold until you get frosting. That means pouring and dumping fast without inspecting the product. Then reduce the frosting by, 1. cooler melt, 2. slower pace, 3. using a damp rag. You likely created your...

I've worn coke bottle bottoms since I was 5. Since having cataract surgery, I only really need them for close work. I first found the ringed brass when a primer only partly tore and I couldn't remove it from the SH. I found the rest while...

It's time for us to start thinking of the next generation of caster if they are to exist. Those of us who have cast for years and have ample supplies need to make sure that our stash doesn't end up as scrap, when the time comes. Those new...

It's just hard for me to toss brass with such a minor defect and remember that I paid for them. It's not like a serious dent or a creased mouth. Dad taught me to salvage anything usable. He said todays plastic junk was built with disposal in...

When all WWs are returned to the likes of INTERSTATE BATTERY and it causes a higher demand for all the other sources, you'll be glad you spent the time and built a stash. Most all casting can be met with CO WWs. Most other alloys need hardeners and...

I started casting sinkers in "58 and reloading in "62. Both led to boolits in "63. There was only one other reloader that I knew of, and had to learn from what little I could find in print and the mistakes I made. There wasn't a LGS and I had to...

Dross and trash in the valve will cause any pot to leak. The RCBS and Lyman valves are a little better finished and less likely to leak, but that's no guarantee. Care and provisions should always be taken beforehand in case there is a major spill...

My Granddad was a barber and taught Dad to cut his after hours. I'd go with Dad and we would trade cuts. My Son resisted the urge and always wore it long as a rebellion. Now my Daughter cuts mine and my Grandsons. Mine used to be extra thick and...

Easiest answer is to try a case and see if it will chamber. There are tolerances that might allow it at least one reloading cycle. Eventually you'll wind to with brass that's too big to feed reliably.

I recently processed 1.5K 556x45 with the LC HS and over 1% were lost to the "pop a top" primers. They were really frozen in place. I know that isn't a big deal but any suggestion to reclaim them would be appreciated. These were probably range...

Must be the poisonous gasses escaping from the San Andreas Fault that makes everything there cause cancer. They're the only ones with the fault and only they get cancer from even the air. It even causes mind altering to some as in LA and San Fran.
