That's the bullet for a series 70 Gold Cup with an 11 pound spring and 3.5 grains of Bullseye. That looks like it's seated too deep, seat them so you have .040 to .050 above the case mouth. They go through my GC like grease through a goose...

The PPK shoots where I'm looking and hasn't FTF or eject with a hot HP handload once in 30 years. The trigger is heavy but crisp and I like feeling the loaded chamber indicator with my thumb nail in the dark. You'll love the way this pistol comes out...

What he said. I do the same, nothing fancy with great results. I shoot them out of a 3030 without leading as well...

High and right means you 'milked it.' That's squeezing the grip rather than putting pressure on the trigger. Try working on your hold. The Luger has a different feel and extreme grip angle. The slow lock time and mushy trigger allows lots of time...

Try changing the amount of finger tip you apply to the trigger, that will change the windage. I wouldn't beat on it no matter what...

That's a handsome handgun and I love the straw on the safety, trigger and bits. My 1920 commercial has Straw and rust bluing like the pistol in the photo. A 6:00 o'clock hold would put you right on. Nice 1911, you don't see the Remington Rands every...

gnostic replied to a thread Burns... in Cast Boolits
Ice is the best for burns, put it on immediately and the severity will be diminished, no kidding, by 80%. I've done it many times always with great results. It keeps the blister from forming, but you have to apply it immediately, or I don't know if...

It's colder than a witches kiss in high country Colorado. My car and bike are still on the trickle chargers. I noticed it's already 80 degrees in LA, this summer may be a scorcher for CA....

gnostic replied to a thread POI high & left in Cast Boolits
Most of my handguns shoot high with cast bullets, I use a 6:00 o'clock hold and that puts me on. Left or right of the target's about how I make contact with my trigger finger.

I have the Anytime Tools for $35 and for my use it's great. For the super critical measurements, I rely on my cheap chinese micrometer. You can check the accuracy of your tools with a feeler gauge, they either work or they don't...
