    Some are being made for long range use in the AR. They allow higher velocity with long heavy bullets without raising pressure. IIRC, they start out at about 12" or 14", and wind up around 6" at the muzzle.

    I have to go the other way: Straight Kroil has always gotten lead out faster than either ER or Hoppe's in my rifles.

    410459 is a great bullet if you can find the mold. RCBS still makes their 210 SWC as far as I know. It is excellent, too. Of course, you have to size them right for your revolver, and they work best if not cast too hard.

    The problem of chambering loads with boolits large enough to fit the bore goes back to the 73 Winchester. It wasn't a problem then because boolits were dead soft, and black powder was used. It can be a problem now. I had my 73 relined by Redman,...

    I shot a lot of 2400 behind the 314299 with excellent accuracy, even in a very rough barrel. I ran out of that boolit, but had a lot of 311284 on hand, which did equally well with 4198. Never exceed the manual loads with a Krag. There's no reason...
