Glad it have you a tickle. I have fired the blackhawk with the new panels, and so far I like them. They are more tacky than wood panels. Makes a 3 pound gun seem like it's 5 pounds though.

I've tried it and it works. But there are better things to use. I buy corncob in large bags from places that sell blasting material.

I hate dealing with primer crimps. I've tried about every method and tool that there is and I've found that no one method will work on every case or crimp. I prefer to remove it vs swage it. Some of the things that you guys posted that you hate...

I deburr and dull sharp edges on every gun I own. On a single action revolver, the butt has some sharp corners that get relieved, and the trigger guard gets it's edges dulled if they bite. Basically anything that causes pain gets the 600 grit...

I tried bacon fat once. Can’t tell you whether work well or not because all I did was make me hungry. I quit casting and went and cook breakfast!

Well i really don’t dislike any aspect of reloading. But I shoot a lot of Makarov (9x18). Makarov brass is at least five times more expensive than 9 mm Luger brass (9x19). Considering the only real difference is one’s a millimeter longer than the...

If ya get the Lee at lot of people make a stand for the magnifier or use a child’s microscope for a stand. I just use a jewelers loop. I find it quicker and easier to use a loop, set of calipers, in the chart that Lee provides.

Going into tire shops asking about weights. I'm not good at social things like getting some weights and offering a pizza in return. I end up buying weights and going almost empty before I work the gumption to go back.

I am in the size first then lube crowd, or minority. If the die is rough inside it causes a lot of resistance and even lead buildup. I polish it with some 1000 grit paper, and the bullets go through much easier.

Hey Poppy, I have a spartan also. I use mine mostly for pistol cartridges. It does pretty good. I've modified mine some, I removed the ears that hold the priming parts, both top and bottom of the opening. I also made a wooden wedge to go...

Using mesh bags is a good ideal. I just take the time to sort everything and I save them up until I have enough to load the tumbler. I will tumble mixed calibers if they won't nest together. Things like 380, 9mm, 38/357, 38 Super will play well...

I’m curious if your mold is dropping Boolets at .3575 why did you try to size em at .358? Are they even touching the sizing die? I guess I’ve been lucky with my molds and alloy. I don’t have that particular mold but the five or six .356 molds I do...
