I have a hodgepodge of stuff. New usa craftsman, and new china craftsman. Some older craftsman, but not much. Some new kobalt stuff, seems good. I pick up what I can at pawn shops and yardsales. If I needed a wrench set, i'd probably go...

I am a cheese lover myself. What I do for targets, is save paper plates, and draw dots on them with a sharpie. I normally do a few at a time, so it dont take up much time. Sometimes I let the stack accrue and do them all when Im watching a...

Howdy, welcome to the forum. I dont have any experience with that cartridge. But I personally would think the lino would be better suited as an ingredient to make lyman 2.

Slightly off subject. But a full size 1911, with an aluminum frame, sure feels nice in hand. I've never fired one however so I cant attest to recoil. I did however, have a Ciener 22 conversion kit for my 1911 a while, and I loved it. You...

I dont have a traditional lube bullet for my 45 auto, or i'd try pan lubing with it straight. If I ever do, I will report back for others benefit.

I always make dummies of anything I will duplicate, and write on the casing what it is. Nothing wrong with having a couple seating dies either, if its something you switch back and forth between, like round nose vs SWC 38s. Best way to get extra...

I set my cut off propane pot inside a steel car rim. I set that on some bricks, and build a fire underneath. The rim directs the heat around the pots sides, not just on the bottom. Works well. I tried it with the rim as is, but I ended up...

Might not be what you're looking for, but for a soft case, I like American mountain supply cases. http://www.americanmountainsupply.com/ I have one for my win 94, its hard to find a short case. Very well made.

The difference in cost is minimal for powder and lead, true. I consider the cost of brass too. I dont have any 45 colt brass from my scrounging. But I have a coffee can full of 38s and another full of 357. Another consideration for me, is...
