I am not sure the size of the RCBS pot, but I've got a whole stack of muffin tins, both large ones, and those mini ones, all of them the 1 piece variety that I got for .25 each from the local church thrift store. Church thrift stores are the...

Given I full length size, and shoot full power loads mostly, I doubt I'll get 100 loadings. Thanks for all the advice on this. Interesting for sure.

Adjustable sights are the way to go in my mind. Nothing at all wrong with a 357 magnum. Others are bigger, but not many are as cheap to scrounge brass for, and not many are as stingy on powder and lead. Thats my take. ~Bazoo

I have a couple batches 30-30 im working with. Both have around 6 or 7 loadings on it. I've never annealed any of it, nor have I lost any to necks cracking yet. Most of the loadings were full power loads, some with jacketed projectiles, but...

I must concur. I have a pair of the black ones, and when its like 20 degrees here, you can hunt all day, walk in snow or whatever and your feet never get cold. I got them for 5 bucks at a yardsale, but you can commonly get them for around 50...

I am in process of reading the Art of Bullet casting book. Its interesting, but its really more for advanced casting stuff. It doesnt really teach you the basics of casting. Fryxell's book is great for beginners and really for everyone.
