My old Nylon 66 was like the Glock of .22 semi autos. I haven't a clue how many brick I put through it before I decided it may need a cleaning. I think I had on jam out of 1,000's of rounds through it. Being a brilliant 18 year old, I decided to...

I tried a new approach yesterday. Telemarketer called, asked them to call back on my other line, because my battery was about dead. Gave them the sheriff's office number. I'll have to ask dispatch of he called them.

Much of blown patterns can be blamed on using the thick cushion wads, rather than card wads. My smoothbores perform very well with 3FFF.

They have been using ECM since 1993 and to the best of my knowledge they are still using it. I have a bunch of post 93 S&W's. Never had a barrel issue. http://www.benchrest.com/showthread.php?76633-S-amp-W-using-ECM-to-rifle-their-barrels! ...

BTW, when I do the video, I will try to capture all of the nuances, angles, called shots, target set, etc. The very best way, however, to experience the game is to come to Volusia County Gun and Hunt Club, and try it out. BRING NICKELS. We'll...

The "Wilbur" reference in Gunarea's post was with regard to me. My name is actually Orville, so it's one of Roy's regular teasings. My new cell phone has 256 GIGS of storage, and so I should be able to video just about an entire game (IF I can...

I've got a few problems with wasps, flies and other winged critters around the place occasionally. I recall reading a thread but can't find it now on using 38/357 brass. If I remember correctly, it called for using about 1.5 to 2.0 grains of...

Yep for felt recoil it's makes a notable difference. I own a Marlin Guide Gun, a Browning 1886 carbine and a Browning 1886 rifle. All in 45/70. The 86 rifle has a crescent butt plate and it brutal with anything over mild loads. The carbine has a...

Yes, it's no different than the mass of the powder hitting a muzzle break. For the rocket motors orifice size determines the velocity of the ejectorate http://www.jacobsrocketry.com/rocketry_overview.htm "There is one more component...

Pressure doesn't directly create recoil. A theoretical example would be if the bullet was locked in the cartridge. When the cartridge is fired it would just be a pressurized vessel with zero recoil generated. The reaction to the pressurization is...
