Nice find! A local gun shop has an O3A3 with Elmer's inspection mark. Priced too high, I won't pay an extra $1000 for a stamp.

I have somewhere between 150-200 of them. I've slowly picked them up over the years here on the S&S board. Back in the late 70's I had a box of 50 Cases & Bullets. They're quiet handy and accurate enough for me up to 15' to 20' feet. I figure to...

Get one at our local bicycle shop, lots cheaper. Get a couple inflation needles for balls, and cut off the first 1/8" or so to remove the side vent holes.

I had hemi-laminectomy on L4-L5 in 1989. Perfect results and no issues since.

In addition to avoiding steel cases (which might actually be brass plated steel, and get past the visual inspection), you also need to avoid nickel plated brass. Those don't move metal the same way as the plain brass cases do. So, as was previously...

Looks like a business opportunity for someone willing to use the drawings that are well in circulation, to take over the business area. Charlie would certainly be willing to provide discussion, guidance, and technical support for anyone wanting to...

I've dry balled so many times over the past 45 years, I figure I have saved at least ten pounds of powder. Funniest incident we had was at one of our spring shoots. One of the top shooters dryballed. Put some powder in under the nipple, pointed...

I picked up a Model 510 Target Master about 5-6 years back. It was your typical pawn shop find. Not in great shape, not in rough shape either. Just a decent old Remington. I broke it down and gave it a good cleaning, took a brick of Federals out and...

That sir, is exactly why I got into casting in the mid 1980's. Skeeter Skeltons promotion of the Lyman #358156 and Elmer Keiths #429421. I checked pretty much every popular gun magazine and Shotgun News looking for them. No luck on the Thompson gas...

Welcome Texas Gun. I've been around this haunt since 2006 and it's simply the best. I see you're already a caster/reloader, great. I'd been reloading and casting close to 20 years when I found this forum. What I learned about casting in my 18 months...

You get to western ND and the topography changes greatly. I was hunting in the Killdeer Mountains when I ran over a throne branch and I have a fast leak in one tire and a slower leak in another. I quickly changed the fast leak with the spare. I...

Not saying this is the case with your loads but the bolt closing force on an M1, M14 and and AR have enough force to push the shoulder back when chambering. This isn't as true for sizing the body but it takes very little to push the shoulders back....

Born and raised in ND. This is the norm when something like this happens. Same happened when my uncle was killed in a auto accident in 1970. That's what neighbors do in rural areas.
