    I'm kind of torn between the recluse in 357, or the Sumatra in 25 cal. Lately though, I've been leaning back towards the marauder in 25 cal. I'm still in the research mode on all of it.

    I would say 4 or 5 times. Depends in you aneal the case or not. Depends on how much if any crimp you do. Necked cases have less life then straight walled because the neck area gets overworked.

    I have two Remington Tac 14's. Not sure what they are good for but having tons of fun. I have shot trap with mine. I average 16. Shot one goose with it. 3 inch steel goose loads are snappy.

    It sounds like a lot of inter related issues. One easy answer, no problem with the half cock. Put on the cap, let down the hammer, bring it back to half cock. IF it's only going to half cock, DO NOT drop the hammer on it until the fix is found....

    The barrels will work fine. Like has been said, make it wider for stability and space. I'd go 6' minimum, and would prefer 8'.

    That depends on the application. If you have a true need to the benefits the extra cost will get you yes they are worth the cost. If you don't have the need or skill take advantage of these benefits it may not justify the extra cost.

    No. Switch barrels guns are common. No barrel nut required. I switch barrels on my Tubb 2000 4 or 5 times year with zero headspace issue's.
