Welcome Steve! Good to see you've decided to join the site. I was casting on my own (with no mentor) for 20 years before I joined this site back in 2006. I learned more in the first 18 months here, than I'd learned in all those 20 years on my...

Your response made me chuckle...... A word of caution from member who has researched the requirements to ship primers is not an assumption of anotherís idiocy but instead exactly what it is, a word of caution.

The import of russian primers was banned in 2014. I used a lot. Wish I still could get them. Purchased 20K SRM in 2016. That was the last time I could find them. I ran out about 1 1/2 ago.

US issue. Lots of research went into the Buffington sight to compensate for rotational drift. Good info here

The push for green primers with a limited shelf life prevents me from profiting from the current craziness. I am hopeful that things get better but I am planning for worst case.

M-Tecs replied to a thread .243 losing popularity? in Our Town
About 30 years ago my cousin was drawn for literally a once in a life time ND Elk tag. She used a borrowed 240 Weatherby to take a massive 7x7 Elk. One shot at just over 300 yards.

I broke out a bulk box of Federal's (550 pack) from days of old a few weeks ago. At the time I bought them, they were selling for $8.88 a pack at China Mart. Sure glad I stocked up back then. I'm still good to go for my wants and needs in .22 LR at...

Google can be your friend. I just bought a car, and did searches for recalls, gas mileage, customer reviews, repair issues on several dozen cars. It saves a lot of heartbreak getting feedback from the mechanics who work on them, and the people...

Everybody wishes. One of mine is for LEE to bring back their 356-102 R1 in a 6 cavity offering. I've owned the 2 cavity version, and I've cast many bullets with 2 cavity molds over the year. 4 & 6 cavity molds can sure spoil a fella. You may want to...
