Considering the summer crowds, I'd do the tourist thing in Yellowstone, then travel north a bit to fish the Madison, Gallatin, or Jefferson. Lots of interesting things north of the park in an easy driving distance. Bannock, Virginia City, Nevada...

They are no federal regulation on shipping unprimed brass within the US. Even shipping primed brass is easy. No hazmat required. http://forum.accurateshooter.com/threads/mailing-shipping-primed-brass-the-regs-and-the-law.3812580/ The issue of...

Agreed, for the most part. A few years back (~4)when I got my 310 for 38/357 they were pretty cheap seems like something has caught on in the last year or so and even the super common 38/357 sets are getting up there in price. The lee hand press...

My first foray into reloading as a teenager was with a Lee Loader loading for my 44Mag 94 Winchester. Mt Da wasn't big on tools and the only hammer we had was a carpenter's claw hammer. No matter how prepared you were for the bang, you couldn't help...

When steel first came out lots of people reloaded it using standard shotcups. The shot would push thru the pedals and leave grooves starting at the forcing cone. On the ones I have seen it was worse at the chamber end.

In my opinion, the cannelure on the bullet is necessary, especially for the taper crimped bullets. But, also for any roll crimped cartridges. I don't cannelure any of my rifle bullets, just because I never crimp those. The friction on the inside of...

Your system of down 9mm cases to 380 auto length, and stuffing in a 105 grain cast core (I actually use a 100 grain mold, and use pure lead, which gives me the 105 core, plus the trimmed case yields a 165 grain bullet.) is EXACTLY how I do it. Nice...

I am not sure how many deer I have killed with a .243 but it is around 50 or 60. Mostly with 100 grain softs points. Never lost one with it and never had to track one over 75 yards. Snow with a crust on it is great for tracking. Fresh fluffy...
