I got a 30 caliber expander from RCBS. I use it for 30-06, .308 and 30/30. I leave a note in the box as to which was the last cartridge expanded. Yes, I learned the hard way.....[smilie=1:

I too used the Spectracide stump remover. I used "Dusting Sulfur" as well. The charcoal was the issue. I used Mesquite charcoal from the grill. Why not? It worked like garbage, but I now know it works like garbage. I will try to get my hands on some...

I started using a Leatherman needle nose pliers and would give them a slight turn while applying pressure. It worked perfect. I would then seat bullet over powder and bump the "bell" back down to straight and it was good to go. I now use the Lee...

My Mom recently asked why I didn't have a dog or cat for the kids....I told her Vet bills are more expensive than the pediatrician. I can't justify it.

I use mine for gas checks too. But the one I remember had the handle changed, the baseplate was different and the part that did the pressing was milled flat and looked great. And it was made by a company that I thought was Star. I believe...

My son has a Savage model 340 in 30/30 that his maternal grandmother gave him. He wanted me to load some light jacketed bullets as fast as I could get them. I told him that he was going to waste time and money as the light bullets would shoot higher...
