I have a Freechex II for a .45 cal. handgun, but I also have a .44 Mag revolver. I have taken the beer or soda cans and cut strips wide enough to be folded over, and pressed them flat w/ my HF arbor press. I'll then punch the checks out and get good...

Great post! I will say the .32 Mag is pretty loud as well. It has it's own loudness like the .357 Magnum. Ear ringing loud for sure. I also agree with your assertion that the .32 S&W-L is the Prince. It really is a grand caliber!

I have chucked some of the seating stems of my dies sets (when able to) in a hand drill chuck. Run the drill at appropriate speed while pressing either a cratex bob or some 220 grit emery cloth against the offending sharp edge. It will soften the...

I listened to a podcast where they said a Smith and Wesson Representative told them at a trade show the average hand gun is fired only 15 times. I can believe it.

Sanders lead in Troy , Alabama may have some. They recycle batteries. When I worked at the sawmill I'd get a 60 lb. ingot every so often and mix it with w/w or Ni.Babbitt. Or, you may check with a local sawmill in your area and see where they get...

Look good. If you're going to kill paper a few little wrinkles won't hurt, and as you saw, when the oil burns out there are usually very few, unless your mold gets cool. Don't worry if they get frosted, that won't hurt anything.

Put gas checks on the boolits I cast the other day. After I did, I weighed some and they all ran around 157.1 or 2. Micrometer said 311 as cast, so I put another coat of JPW on them and stood them up to dry. It was really warm, even with the a/c on....

I'm using some Bullseye that is probably 25 years old. From the pictures you posted that powder looks good. I see no "rusty" looking flakes, and you'll know when the fragrance is telling you that the stuff is bad. The ammonia smell will knock you...

I'll pick up a Handloader if I can find one, and subscribe to G&A. It's not as good as it used to be, I suspect it's because of all the black rifle articles, and I never warmed up to them. Nor do I want an Aimpoint optic. But I still read it. Maybe...

Got it mostly from being a " Man" back when I was young and stupid. The 22 years at the sawmill didn't help any, even with the supplied yellow ear plugs. I mostly just ignore it, it's constant, 24/7 noise, and the hearing tests show the same thing,...
