BE-86 flips back and forth between unique and herco in burn rate, and it's flash suppressed. power pistol lies right on top of be-86. if I ever empty that red metal can of Herco the jug of 86 sitting there will be going in the 357 cases.

Good Cheer, the above photo was taken to show a rather obvious lube preference my 2 Band has, but that Challenger slug is about the longest I have to measure. It is 1.145" long. The NEI 500gr Target slug (solid base) is 1.010" long. The Lyman 575611...

I would go 25% cherry/75% hickory myself... it is one of the woods where a light touch is way better than to much. And poultry skin seems to soak up smoke faster than say a pork butt or ribs.

fluxing and reducing are necessary evils only if you want clean lead. I guess if you want a bunch of junk in your castings or a clogged spout you don't need to clean anything. one thing about pure or near pure lead is it oxidizes like crazy and...

OlDeuce a couple days ago you were in the mid 30'sF ??, that 748 was cold man! I don't think those large pistol primers are up to the task, maybe a LR primer or a 350 CCI would get it burning. .02

the most penetration through bone I have ever got was by using a .0030 thick copper wrap on a cast bullet and slowing it waay down to 2350 fps. that only made it 8"s through the shoulder and spine and through the other shoulder.
