If the Shipment was addressed correctly it was not the shippers fault but the multiple post offices and/or customs offices that the package would have went thru once a package leaves the US our postal service washes their hands of any issue. Every...

I vaguely remember something like that MRP back in maybe the 80's. but I can't recall a good burn rate for it. if it is 4831 type then I'd go with what I wrote above, it's probably not a real good cast powder at lower velocity's.

I can see why their sales are slumping. I bought two Remington products last year, an 1895 Cowboy 45-70 that had chunks missing from the rifling and the second version of the R-51 9mm pistol that is the worst pistol I've ever owned. Look at all the...

I think it was "sporting". I've stumbled across a couple of good deals on CL over the years. Picked up a good deal on a Kimber M1911 at one time and I think my SIG P229 was listed there. I've also picked up some good prices on scrap lead a couple...

................I would really advise you to slug your bore first. Lyman, RCBS, or Saeco might meet your needs but if a 'fatter' size is needed you're most likely going to have to go to NOE or Accurate. Quite a lot of work was done with the 6.5x55...

since the 40's, maybe the early 50's anyway. if the epoxy is all dried out find an air spot in a tube and hit it with a torch for about 10 seconds. if it's tin it will start to sweat then crumble and melt quickly.

they meet a pressure window with the powder they get out of the train cars. they order powder by burn rate and it comes close from the powder company. for instance they say send us a trainload of 4895, when it gets there it might be 3031 or 4064...

I'm thinking that the next thing to test with the bullet swagging die would be to put a 0.358" round ball in it and see what I got out of it. That should allow me to see what bullet profile it was designed to produce.
