in my SRH 44 "not 454" whenever I shoot PC'd boolits with a normal lube grove, the lube grove obturates out flat when fired so id opt for tumble lube groves, it gets rid of that problem and powder sticks to it better anyway. and you can still tumble...

well first I wouldn't start with 200 bullets on the first try, why have several hundred not properly coated bullets assuming its not perfect first try. id put 20 in a small container and practice small scale then scale up.

maybe one of them would be launcher at a higher peak g force and slumps the nose slightly, and changes the bc causing the same bullet at same speed to act differently. I don't know, you gotta be pretty picky to make the same thing be different ...

d2 is interesting indeed. ive gotten it sharp enough with diamond strops to do multi split hairs. but then I looked at the edge under a microscope and it has tiny perfect squares of the edge that just sort of fell off, but who needs those squares...

I used to carry a benchmade mini griptilian, but after so much playing with it I broke the springs plus the blade coating was wearing and getting ugly, so I got a benchmade 707 a few years ago, its $140 but I like everything about it, the profile is...

Lee products say if it chambers you dont need to size, i dont see any risk of it getting stuck in the barrel, if its harder to start into the bore pressure will go up and put it in the barrel anyway, then it is sized to the bore and has pressure to...

30-06 can still go very low and both can do 3gr bullseye type mousefart loads or more mid range unique-2400 loads, just maybe less powder options or efficiency in the bigger case with light loads. but I think the longer 30-06 neck is an advantage...

id probably start 20 pounds range scrap to 1 pound super hard and about 4 oz pewter. should be very roughly 3-4% antimony 1-2% tin. id try it air cooled, then if its not hard enough water drop or heat treat and try again, if neither works its...
