probably stop expanding at more like 175 to 200 yds, one of the things I learned is it takes a bit more speed than youd think

ya use data for a design that puts the base in the most similar position in the case. sometimes that could be just using data for a heavier design. or you can do some figuring and think the normal case volume from the bottom inside of the case to...

I recently upped my sizer from .4325 to .4333, I re-powder coated some of the ones that were already sized so I could size them again without casting more. currently letting them age a bit cause I quench 50-50ww. ill have to try making a spread of...

I spent lots of time trying different alloys and powders, diameter ect. for my 44 revolver, then once I had it good I never shot it again lol. the fun part was trying stuff then I go try something else with a different gun.

ones with big lube groves that will obturate flat I fill with lube to prevent it. small lube groves I sometimes smear LLA on wax paper thinly then roll the coated bullets on it to get a bit on the bearing surface, not needed but they seat smoother...

It'd be easy to try PC, a sample pack of colors and some bb's from smoke isnt expensive, and then your equipped to coat several thousand boolits with 3 different colors whenever youd want to. Definitly not a bad deal and gives you options.

so you mean out of round, as in its NOT the mold halfs having one slid further forward than the other, assuming you would have noticed a step on the boolits mold half seam and mentioned if that was the case. in that case possibly good news if its...

yeah antimony isn't really what you want in something that expands to a large degree, like a long 30 cal can pretty much triple caliber expand which that degree of stretching is a lot to ask of the metal. in water tests ive compared 1.5% to 2.5% and...

this is your friend, usually everthing will go to poop over 2k in 10 twist so this is a chart equalized at 2k for rifle powders. and use at your own discretion and check data elsewhere as the chart isn't made by me. cant say which is best every gun...

id take whatever is smaller or a mixture of sawdust, spread it out in a thin layer and pour wax over it to make a sheet. then break it up into pieces that look like little no bake cookies. makes for good easy to handle flux.
