I don't know how long it takes for the different weight/densitys of the alloys to move around and stratify, but stirring fairly often seems to help mine be more consistant . I don't weigh & sort them for handgun stuff, but I still stir fairly...

Back in the 90's, I quit using a hammer at all. Turn the mold block so the plate opens counter clockwise, and turn it while wearing a big thick welding glove. Home Depot sells the same ones in the bar-b-que grill accessory section, or the...

Keep wiggling them, but upside down so the media can fall out if it can as opposed to how it got in there in the first place.

Those might be some real high end dies. Some folks would get a die set made at the same time a gunsmith chambered a custom barrel for them. Those cals. sound like favorites for the real serious bench rest folks.

There is always a craze for something going on in the gun comic books. The one for hi-powers has come & gone for the current fad.

Yeah. The flyer was probably planned and scheduled to go out awhile back. But the inventory calculation program is instantly updated each time someone orders something.

A good source for opinions is to look at the customer reviews on the sites where the various ones are sold. Especially the 4 star or less reviews and how many there are in relation to the 5 star ones. Once you wade through the stupid people, there...

That's funny. I try different recipes and things once in awhile. Something I'd heard about, but never ate was beef tongue. So, one day, I saw them at the store and bought a couple. I fixed 'em, it wasn't bad. The next day I took some to...

One of the guys on the old Marine forum from the late 90's told a couple of his sea stories from when he was in Viet Nam, and his Platoon Commander was 'Lt. Rob.', President LBJ's son in law. One of them was: As a Christmas present, Lady Bird...

Mine are on a table. I like plenty of elbow room around them so I use nuts & bolts for the sizer. The pot can sit by itself OK. When I need the sizer, I move the pot down to the floor and bolt the sizer down in its place.

If you have a old school pressure cooker, and some tubing or hose to condense the steam, you can make your own distilled water.

I'm a big fan of Cobalt drill bits & plenty of oil. They're about as hard as Chinese Algebra, and have always done a good job for me. Without knowing what ya gotta get through, its kind of hard to make a specific recommendation.

Older tires needed the heavier ones more than new tires, they weren't assembled/made as evenly when they went into the cooker. Years ago, a buddy dropped off some from the city bus garage. I'd never seen ones for the real big tires on a bus...

I haven't read it, but suspect its in the category of 'it'll work fine for a while', sort of like driving your car at 110mph. Or it'll be conditional on using lighter bullets. The commercial ammo warning didn't come about by someone's arbitrary...
