Me too. I've got a bowl with unusual things in it too. Paper shotgun shells, a 12ga. all plastic Wanda, some steel .45 cases from WWII, a issue box of 20 WWII Carcano rounds, etc. I'd toss a couple of the oddball .38s in the bowl, but just load...

I'd load them all and maybe separate the head stamps for some real serious target shoot'n. From a small or medium frame revolver, and even DEWC from a S&W model 59 auto pistol. I never could tell enough difference to really matter at handgun...

This has reminded me of my Dad's long time friend. This guy was the most cynical, pessimistic person I ever knew. Whenever I saw him, I'd start to chuckle. I knew he was going to tell his latest tale of bad luck from some self inflicted...

I think a lot has to with the dirt & climate. I grew some garlic from grocery store pods that sprouted on their own in the cabnit. In the Texas black land that has so much acid in the soil-- it was almost too hot to eat. But it did repopulate...

Wow. We've had storms blow in that could zap their way through surge protectors and eat up computers and answering machines. I started un plugging them when lightening comes through.

Very true. In selecting a jury the attorneys really don't want anyone with a strong opinion about much of anything, or anyone with a superior knowledge or experiences on subjects relating to the case at hand. This is why insurance companies...

The military doesn't have any sense of humor at all when it comes to lost or stolen weapons. At least in Garrison or peacetime. I was on a Naval Air Station when the armory came up short a M-16. The MPs searched every vehicle going off base for...

My Dad was a Radio Operator in the Air Force during the early days of the Korean War. He was among the first few guys stationed on Adak, Alaska and was there for 18 months. Back then, they lived and worked in those Gomer Pyle looking Quonset huts...

I'd shoot them since they're already made up. Especially since you have a couple thousand or so. That many of that design, with half jackets-- I'd think whoever made them was a serious target shooter, and knew exactly what they were doing. I...

I never like that design. A buddy had a extractor fall out of his Sendero on a hunting trip. After that, we both sent our 700 bolts out for a Sako style extractor to be put in.

Ma Dad hated being called, and he'd have this big long face from when he got the summons until it was over. In Dallas County, the jury pool room seats at least 400 people, and every morning, it's full. The head bailiff fella does a 5-10 minute...

That reminds me, of the several times I've been called. Awhile back, I got three summons in 15 months. Sitting there in one of the pools, the judge came out and told everybody, "You want to get tough on crime? ........Here's your big chance".
