Heck, the doggone 1" rubber tie-downs and ladders are what I see all over the road. You'd think people would learn, but apparently not.

You are making it difficult for me to remain un-envious of you. Let alone reserving my contempt. LoL! Wish I'd been in 'the right place at the right time'. Someday soon, I expect.

Well, it's on 'the list', but it's not touted as 'THE DEAL' like, say, H4350 and the 6.5 Creedmore is. Unless my Google-Fu fails me. (?)

I agree. The 300 Win Mag is often cited for down range energy and relatively flat shooting. Yet curiously, the .260 Rem gets over-looked. And that is a mistake.

As the title says, I'd like to buy 100 pieces of .358 Starline brass if anyone has some they'd be willing to sell. I only hunt with my .358 so I've no need for 500 pieces, which appears to be Starline's minimum order. Thanks for looking.

I've a .243 Savage barrel that does that. When I pulled the barrel off, I could easily tell the rear of the chamber was cut oversize. None of my other barrels have shown a preference for neck-sized brass, and when I checked, none had an oversize...

If I read your post correctly, these are reloads you're having problems with? Is the fired case stuck,or is the next round not chambering fully? Have you tried cycling a magazine full of rounds thru to see if they chamber and extract correctly? If...

You can 'Mic' the scope tube if the Plasti-gauge test shows excessive clearance. Or you can just buy stuff until the problem goes away. Seems most prefer option #2.

I beg to differ. NOTHING survives fire, given that the fire is hot enough.

If you have a set of feeler gauges, you can see if the rings have any gap remaining if you check from the sides where the screws are. You can also get Plastigauge from Napa or other auto parts stores and see if there is clearence left after...
