GhostHawk started a thread Prayers needed in Our Chapel
I am having a crisis. I am 64.5 and this morning I woke with the whole right side of my head hurting. I have a wisdom tooth coming in. Ain't life grand. Sorry, for the next week or 2 I may be a little distant. I may be sarcastic as heck, I...

Wow, that is getting light for sure. It would be great from a rest though...just "think" shoot, and it's gone lol.

Thanks 54bore. I don't think you could go wrong with one of these! GhostHawk, i find them easier and quicker to pump than the 392, so i don't mind the pumping too much. For hunting i'll probably go for 10 pumps and head shots on small game, but...

GhostHawk replied to a thread How must you be? in Our Chapel
Dunno, ain't done it yet. I can only hope that it is "Oh good and faithful servent" that I hear when that day comes. Not " I knew you not". In my opinion spirit has to be a big part of it, belief, faith, works in his name. If you read a...

GhostHawk replied to a thread Shot maker in Casting for Shotguns
Part of the reason I bought what I bought was that it was the first shot maker for sale at reasonable price that included the drippers. Mine are doubles. My shot tank holds about 5 gallons of liquid. After I have been baby sitting that girl for an...

GhostHawk replied to a thread Powder placement in Our Town
It matters IMO because if the powder is forward, how much of the heat from the primer will actually reach it? Instead of setting all of the powder off in one smooth pressure wave you might get a slower burn. A variable is a variable. Change one...

I have 2 of the 1322's bought both with the shoulder stock. For indoor target work 3 pumps is plenty. It will put 5 in one ragged hole at 20 feet, smaller than a dime. Right now mine is sitting with a 3x Red Dot mounted on it. Great...

This is the 21 yd. target. The 3 shot group was shot with a 6:00 hold at bottom of target, and the 1 shot in the middle was with a half sight picture and 6:00 hold. So for a squirrels head at that range, all i need is a 1/2 bead under his...

This is the 50 yd. target from yesterday. I shot at the black bull with a 6:oo hold and had the white paper taped under it to catch the drop at that range, which was about 3 1/2". The first shot however, was 6" low. Could have been a bad pellet, or...

Pistol caliber carbines are IN. Cheaper to shoot, less recoil, less noise, ideally less cost to buy. I have a stub job in a Handi rifle in 9mm. A 16" .45acp chamber adapter I hope to play with one day soon. Thinking about a .45lc either barrel...

I have tried a variety of different boxes from different makers. My local Mills Fleet Farm carries the Plano boxes at reasonable prices. They are ok, especially for pistol ammo. My favorites are the MTM boxes with the hinges, not the flip...

54bore, My chrono is down due to gc going through the screen on it. The few online reports i've seen on the new series(p1377) pretty well were 580 to 610 fps. with 7.9 gr. pellets. All i can say for sure about mine for now, is that it's quick...

54bore, After getting the 392 and seeing how accurate it was, i got tired of walking by the 1377's in the display case at Walmart and finally took a deep breath and got one. Maybe i got lucky with the pellets, but all they had were daisy...

Multigunner, Yes i agree about the 22 having more punch for sure. However, i got the 1377 out in good daylight today and have to say, for a little 7.9 gr. hp barely making 600 fps,if that, i was impressed with it. I didn't have another...

These are 6.5mm boolits on a 1/2" thick aluminum plate drilled to fit the gas check shank and covered with non stick aluminum foil. The other side of the plate fits the GC shanks of 30 cal. boolits.

For me the answer was a Frankford Arsenal hand deprimer. It will deprime, catch and hold a couple hundred primers. Then all brass gets a citric acid wash, rinsed, a brush in the primer pocket, and a roll on a towel on my leg to remove any stubborn...

I don't carry, but I don't go out much. We don't have a lot of problems up here in North Dakota. Next to my recliner are hidden 2 guns. A old CZ-52 that shoots 7.62x25 and in a small plastic case a Hipoint C9 9mm. Both are loaded, one in the...

Hick nailed it IMO. Like him I had a few situations after I was trying everything with BLL where I either saw light leading, or was simply short of confidence. Like 7.62x54r for the pair of Mosin's I have. They shoot, but not accurately, they had...
