toallmy I believe sir you are correct. "Fiocchi 616 primer + 17.5 gr. Red Dot with a CB SO clone and 1 oz. #8's makes a great 16 yd. load. I've loaded thousands of them without a hitch." To me this is the one place the shotgun reloading...

100$ bill would buy you a lee 6 cavity mold, a lyman dipper, some lead. Add a heat source and you are casting. After the first couple hundred they are all free except for the lead. If your buying swaged bullets you will always have to buy. Might...

I always blamed my Dad's lung cancer on Treflan myself. He would not allow us kids anywhere near it. I use a little round up here and there around the house. I'm smart enough to stay UP wind of the area I'm spraying, and to wash well after. I...

Advantages Manual sold by BPC. Find the hull and hope like heck they list that wad. If they don't, see what they do list and buy some more wads. Its not worth the risk of damage to a good gun or yourself. Metallic loading tends to have room...

I'd have to agree with Skeettx. I mix roughly equal weights of Clip On Wheel Weights and pure lead/range scrap. And then about 1% or a skosh more of tin. And I use this for everything. But if I do want to add a bit more tin I have some 6...

Mine is and always has been my Ruger 10/22, one of the early 70's models with decent walnut stock. Until my eyes started to change in my 40's I was the king of the .22lr's with its iron sights. Course I knew a trick or two to help level the playing...

I know someone who did that with a .410 shell with the shot poured out. Did it in the basement. Left about 6 inches of arrow and fletching sticking out of the concrete block wall. Some of the bigger bore air guns have been playing with the same...

Think of yourself as a piece of luggage on a round the world trip. Every stop someone is going to slap labels on you. But those labels only describe the exterior and who you belong to, and where you are going. They do not define what is within....

Mine was a .410 bolt action shotgun, mossberg. Had interchangeable screw on chokes. I bought it as a freshman in collage. Worked fine on close range cottontails. But it was dismal on everything else. I still have it, it is cleaned, oiled. It...

You can also mix it half and half with pure lead or range scrap for low speed pistol bullets. They won't be as hard, can't be pushed as hard, but it doubles how many you can get. As said above straight up for faster rifle bullets. Fact is the...

Find yourself a punch that will do the correct size for .410 to make wads. Then try a milk jug (Plastic) A milk Jug (waxed paper, thickest) and some of the thin cardboard that package pop cans in 12 and 24 packs. See which one does the trick....

I lost both my parents last year. They had a lot at the local cemetary. Put up a marker that looks like a little stone house. 8 spaces for urns, the urn is sealed into place with a stone cut from the marker. And a brass plaque that tells the tale. ...

I agree that hulls should have a notation if they are straight walled and tapered. Ideall both hulls and wads would be cross indexed. If you buy these hulls you want X or Y wads. This would make life a LOT easier for someone just getting started....
