GRRRRRR! I caught the shim shifting a bit that i put under the bbl. even though it was jammed tight in there. I guess from shooting vibrations, although that seems to be very light with these guns. Anyway, drove out the pump arm and bbl. band...

I used to hunt whitetails with a 6 1/2" bbl. 44 mag. using 250 gr. Keith style bullets @ 900 fps. Total broadside penetration was no problem. They bleed out quick from the big holes and don't go far...if at all. One tough old doe made it 50 yds....

I tried one more time on shimming the bbl. band. I put in one extra piece than before and it's holding and shooting great. Guess i've got a bandaid on it for now till i do a more permanent fix.

Treeman, Thanks for letting me know your bbl. length. Those are some good chrono nos. too...especially with the heavier pellets. I like your bbl. length and that's exactly the length i've been considering. Baker's Airguns has some pretty...

I've tried several different commercial and homeade lubes over the last several years and had some very good results, but each was lacking in one area or another, such as hot weather, cold weather, cold bore shots, etc. I can lube up with Ben's...

Glad you found a conversion for it. It sounds like a really fun air gun.

Multigunner, Thanks for the info on the bbls. As i understand it some have used the disco bbls., but i think i read they require a bit of milling on the breech end for proper fit. I'm not set up to do anything like that, so i would definitly be...

I had read that some folks lost a bit of velocity in the 13xx guns past 21" and that 14 to 18" was about optimum. I also asked crosman about buying a bbl. for one and was told you have to buy the gun from the custom shop now to purchase bbls. for...

Do those mods include a longer bbl? I called crosman the other day and was advised i could "probably" hit 540 to 560, maybe even as much as 580 fps. with just a 21" bbl. on 10 pumps. Unfortunately i've got a 1377 that has developed a bit of slop...

I had read about using a nut and bolt. While probably not much for looks, it should certainly do the job. That may well be what i wind up doing. A thin nylon washer on each side might help to protect the bluing on the pump tube. Thanks for...

Yes, I think the pin holes were drilled a bit oversize, or the pins are a bit under sized. Either way some play has developed. I had thought of maybe replacing the roll pins with solid pins. Thankfully it doesn't seem to move on it's own while...

35 shooter started a thread Loose bbl. band in AirGuns
After almost 3000 shots, my 1377 has developed a fair amount of play on the bbl. band. Most of the play is from the front sight being in the upright position, to being tilted slightly left if you wiggle it by hand. The band was very tight when...

Yep, he's as honest as they come. His Hatsan could have a crown problem, but since we live so far apart, i haven't seen it yet. He's gone through several pellet brands and styles with it in the past few months, but not satisfied with it at all at...

I'll probably pick one up before long. Don't see how a person could go wrong on one for $35.00. I sure liked the one i had "way back when". I hope the gf can pump the 880, as my 392 is a bit much for her.

Nope, no bbs in a rifled bbl. for me lol. My brother did try some lead round balls in his though. Said they cycled fine through the bb chamber and shot pretty accurately.

My brother in CO. picked one up at Walmart for $35.00 a couple of months ago, and it has become his favorite very quickly. They have been $45.00 here, but today i was in a local Walmart and noticed the new $35.00 price here also. I was stocking...

Okay, Thanks Multigunner, I thought that might work, at least for hunting where only occasional shots are being taken. Those chrony nos. you posted are pretty impressive indeed for a co2 pistol.

Multigunner, Not trying to drift your thread, but i see you shoot a lot of co2. I don't own a co2 gun at this time, but have read they don't perform well when the temps drop. I was just wondering if a guy was attempting hunting in cool or cold...

Looking forward to the pics. Sounds like a neat airgun with the bbl. swapping ability, but one that i'm not familiar with. Sounds like the one you have in .177 is super accurate too.
