Best bullet I've found is one of the sites' old group mold purchase. It a 165 gr. bore rider and for the life of me, I can't remember the number. Lee 6 cavity mold that is unmarked on the mold itself. Perhaps another member can fill in the...

I'd slug your bore and find out what it is first, then go a thousandths or two under. On this next mold, I might even go a few thou under that and finish it off with a spinning wet sanding / honing.

It may be a wrinkley boolit, but that performance is impressive. Have you done a trajectory for various distances yet? That thing is going to land like a locomotive on the target. As long as it falls out of the mold, who cares if it has...

Dinny, With the seating stem & de-capping pin removed, two of the three .45acp dies will allow a .30-06 shell to run fully into the die. I'm at a bit of a loss as to your intentions, but to answer your question, yes. The FL die does not.

I have had great results from the tried & true T/C Maxi-ball. Accurate and good on game. It has lube grooves, but then I find that necessary for good shooting. One thing that mitigates the lube mess while hunting is a bullet board. Lube up...

My all-time favorite boolit for the .45-70 is the 462-420. I usually keep it down to the top end of the trap door load levels and it performs fantastically. Very accurate and, as my friends refer to it's terminal performance as, "the matrix...

Glad you had success. Of the many ways, I've put a soldering iron on the screw head after multiple penetrant applications and it was enough of a source of heat to do the trick. Whatever works.
