Price - $599 I think it's a good deal as the rifle is surely well made. If I needed one I don't think I'd hesitate. Slap a Vortex scope on it and you'd be off to the races. I just don't need, need being the operative thing, another good...

The one with the laces looks like about a size 9. :) And, yes, as the snow melts, the track does appear to have come from a larger animal. Coydogs abound in northern NY. Seems logical that coywolfs would too if a population of wolf is...

I just put a BadAce Tactical on the k-31 and it was a breeze. Now shooting near or sometimes actual one ragged hole groups at 50 yards. Mostly in the load development stage at this point, but, will be moving out to normal ranges, soon. Easy. ...

Wish I could answer your question, but, alas, I haven't any experience with the M--S in 6.5. I do want to toss out there a tid-bit of general info, though. After shooting the jacketed stuff, it would benefit you to clean the barrel of all...

I broke the handle to my Lyman 450 and just a quick trip to the welder got 'er fixed. Don't know what material your tool is made from, but it might just be able to be welded.

Well, I finally got my hands on one of the new Mauser M-18's. Went to Trop's gunshop in Elizabethtown, PA. and they had a rack of 'em. I'm sure it's a fine shooter, but not my cup of tea. I've been spoiled by walnut and blue steel and just can...

Yep. I'd expect today's modern manufacturing to be able to make a newer / better of the classic without the expensive mystique getting in the way. Customs are custom and some will pay for just the "custom" niche. I was intrigued by a $600 Mauser...

I have to ask you, gentlemen; What is the intended target for these, shoulder fired, wheel-less, field pieces? My Lott lives a much tamer life and still I can't imagine the beast that would not fall to it. If it's a case of "just 'cause", I'm all...

Well, it's been a few months and I'm wondering if anybody has put their hands on one of these new M-18 Mausers. I've looked all over and no joy from any of the gun shops I've visited. Interesting marketing plan -- make a new gun and then make...

I didn't get there until 1000 or so. Still crowed and lots of good stuff available. Got some 9mm stuff and continued on to the Ag. Center. I'll try like heck to get back to that one next year. Just the kind of show I enjoy.

725 replied to a thread .54 caliber inlines? in Muzzleloading.
If you want a .54 inline, just make it happen. I like round balls so I got that suitable rifling cut into the barrel. If you want conicals or sabots, go that direction. I just like the round balls and out of my T/C impact, it's a hoot. Never...

I bought a T/C Impact from this site (.50 ) and sent the barrel to Bob Hoyt. He bored it to .54 with a round ball twist of, IIRC, 1-60. It's a humdinger now. Love the .54 inline when I'm not in the mood for my side hammer.
