Before I got so sick about 12 years ago, I would start loading most Saturday mornings and either cast or load 3 or 4 hours and stop for lunch. Then cast or load another 2 or 3 hours. Or until I got too tired to handle the 4 or 6 cavity molds.

A friend shoots "Cowboy" stuff with 44 mag rifle and pistol. All they do is punch paper. Some standing still, some moving, 20 yards max. He loads his pistol rounds with 4.5 grains of 700X and a 200 grain round nose, flat point Lee bullet. Not...

Go here and get you a cheap countersink. OK it won't be a benchrest quality crown. BUT, you want to cut deep enough to get down past the rounded part of the current crown. $20 bucks and a hand drill will get you into clean metal. Then make the...

I started casting about 1976. I have not been REALLY active all the time. But copper has done good by me, rifle or pistol.

I think I've shot everything competitive except shotgun. I just never did get into that. But my 45acp goes through the Dillon. I have a couple of hundred match cases for it. But that's not too bad. The 223 goes through the Dillon. I did...

I had my first BIG head done a shoulder mount. I had saved several kill tags from different animals. BUT... back in the 1970s and 80s our state had a cover paper that the state kept. The "kill tag" that the hunter had to keep with the animal was...

Almost all my rifle brass, (how about 2, 5 gallon buckets of brass) needs to be annealed. They're splitting the case necks like crazy. I decided to not load any more until I can anneal the rest of them. Thanks for all the help. Victor

I'm sure someone has said this before me. But when I clean my brass and getting them out of the media, I hold a few cases in my hand and shake them to get any stuck media out. I started noticing a difference in the sound. When they are all good...

I'm not sure where to look. Can someone help me find out information about annealing cartridge brass? I knew a man about 15 years ago that did some for me. But I'm not traveling that way now. I'm thinking of getting my own machine. Thanks in...
