Have had kidney stones off and on 2 shoulder surgeries hernia and Carpal tunnel surgeries was given morphine in the ER for the stones and either percodan or percocet for post surgeries. Was really concerned about getting hooked on the pain meds as...

I tend to be a bit of a skeptic, during the past administration everything was a crisis and thus a ploy to extort more money from us the taxpayers.

I have the 2 burner version and it is more than sufficient for melting lead and making ingots. It's also come in handy when a spare burner was needed for cook outs.

Ruger's frames are castings and how they're machined is a guess on my part. I suspect some type of CNC set up,the oldest 4edhawk is the 357 and that has to be near 40 years old. The 44 and 45 are much newer than the 357 probably 15 to 20 years...

I'd try the lighter bullets first the No 3 isn't all that heavy and the steel butt plate will beat you into submission in short order. Order some cast bullets from Missouri Bullet Co in different weights to figure out which bullet weight works the...

I've 3 Redhawks 357,44 and 45 Colt measured with my micrometer the frames are.407 to.410. All 3 were made in different years decades apart actually so that close in in thickness over 40 years is quite remarkable. Come to think of it are you talking...

I think those are Lee dies they're in an RCBS die box. The label on the box says lube die. That die was used to lube cases prior to resizing. The dies should have a manufacturers name on them somewhere.

I have several molds for 45/70 from Saeco,RCBS and NOE from 300 t0 525 gr. In your Ruger No 3 300 to 400gr will be the most comfortable with trapdoor loads. Size bullets .458,.459 powders to use 3031,RL 7,4227,5744 and for laughs black powder or...

Was watching Motor Week awhile back about this problem, the wire coatings are a soy based product so they attract critters and they figure it's just another food source. There was a product you you could apply but I don't remember what it is

If the mold is in really bad shape RCBS will replace it. I had a .454 250 gr RNFP that rusted up on me,boxed it and returned asking if 4CBS could clean it up. A few weeks later package from RCBS arrives with a brand new mold.

More tin and antimony will make the bullets lighter and cause the alloy to better fill the cavities resulting in a consistent diameter.

I have 2 625s and you couldn't ask for a nicer pistol cartridge combo to shoot. Have had many a person try them and were pleasantly surprised at how nice the 45 AR to shoot. Don't let the moon clip argument dissuade you it's the fastest reload I've...
