    There is one thing I'll add here and some of the retirees will recognize this statement "you're retired you got all kinds of time". I don't know how I got anything done working 8 and sometimes 12 hours a day.

    I worked for General Electric aircraft division and remember those pliers well. They were used in the assembly area when I was in the tool crib. They were used to fasten done parts to fixtures that needed to be mig/tig weld.

    Bought a new 1911 comander size 9 mm had to replace the recoil spring as I was getting FTF. Spring was a 12 lb Wilson now it feeds and eject like it should.

    I have an Advatage Arms conversion for a 45 frame 1911 and have had only 1 fte in 500 rds. Pricey yes but built with steel and aluminium.
