There was a time long ago when I worked 50-60 hr a week, raised 2 children and kept a house and home. There were no safe queens and every new aquisition was fired as soon as I could manage a trip to the range. Time has a way of changing habits. ...

My identical burner has held 100+ pounds of boiling sugar water MANY times with no signs of even flexing. It is designed for a 15 gallon turkey fryer so figure 60 pounds of oil plus the bird weight no problem.

The stigma in the media and the bad publicity of the VN era rifles caused me not to have one until a couple years ago. Then the prices were a problem until I decided to build one. My first was a 24" with a fixed stock and it really stooked my...

A lady in a town near here bought a ticket and felt so sure of herself, she bought another the same day. Last night she won $1000 on the first and a million on the second. So don't put it off if ya feel lucky. I say that because I don't know...

It's good to know there is a name for what I have, but I've already forgotten what it is. For years I've said the brain is like a computer, and I have an old model. It has very limited ram memory and in order to remember anything new, I have to...

I am 57, have major back issues that will probably kill me in 5-10 years or at a minimum put me in a wheelchair. I m shooting less so I do not need 10 years worth of powder sitting around for family to try and sell(I am the only one who reloads).

My favorite use for venison is summer sausage, mixed 50/50 with beef chuck roll and if needed some extra beef suet ground for more fat(some chuck rolls can have a thick fat cap).
