Insulate the slab! I have yet to put a heater in the garage I built a few years ago. I live in SW MN where it gets to -20f (record is -31F) and the coldest it has gotten in there is 28 degrees. The walls do have 8" of insulation and the attic area...

Not a lab grade instrument, you CAN connect it to a computer for a larger screen and easier use, the 960mhz limit is the downside. Wish they made one that went to 20ghz since I am starting to play around on 10ghz with the goal of doing moon bounce...

Gunplexer horn antennas had around 20db of gain if my memory serves me, so your effective radiated power was considerably higher than the 100 milliwatts they put out. Around 6 watts and if the chocolate sat awhile it might melt it... Nobody plays...

I do it all the time on cold days, like apple pie filling without the work of making a pie. I sometimes cook 4-5 apples down at once, thaw frozen biscuits and split in half then top the apples and bake until the biscuits are done. Brush with butter...

A gun trading buddy of mine got this last week, and we did a trade. Pristine condition. Blue is perfect, wood is also, has had a grand total of 130 rounds thru it, he got it off the old fella that bought it new, and had all the brass in the boxes...

For testing microwave oven leakage I would grab one of those antennas I linked in my first spec analyzer posts, the 850 - 6500 MHz on this page has 6dbi gain so have to factor that into your measurements https://wa5vjb.com/products1.html being...

Microwaves operate at 2.4ghz and I would post an RF safety calculator but that is for antenna radiation... leakage from a microwave will be much smaller. I posted the wrong spectrum analyzer up above, that one is good to 900 mhz only, to low for...

I have had several Swifts over the years, could never get one to shoot good at speed velocities, if I backed the load down to 22-250 speeds, the swift would shoot great, but not as good as my 22-250. I had 3 Rugers, a custom Mauser, and a couple...

Sorry but that is NOT accurate. Both are around the same frequency but a microwave is 1,000 watts versus 1/2 watt for a cell phone. A cell signal is NOT pulsed, it is modulated and never exceeds 1/2 watt and is often a lot less because the phone and...

Number 5 above nailed it for me. (It's a hobby) If you think this is costly, look into quilting. Don't forget to look at the time spent making a quilt also. I like to shoot a lot. It's nothing to go to the range and send a hundred or more...

Microwaves cannot turn a corner without a reflector of some sort. Door seal leakage would be straight out the door to cabinet space for example, it won't turn and go to the front of the machine. It needs a metal surface to reflect off of... directly...

Where I live close shots are really about 40 yards, closest I've had except for one time. Most are around 100 plus but 450 is not out of the norm. I wasn't really looking for much expansion just don't hit a large bone. I was going to try milk jugs...

I recently traded into a Ranger, R-22 Heavy barrel, sporter. I have never seen one of these before, in 45 years of gun trading, running a shop. It is a 416 Stevens sporter, but with a walnut stock, made similar to a 52 Win., with a wider forearm and...
