I’ve got one of these with the 4” barrel from the first run done for Lipsey’s. It runs like a Rolex. I’m stunned and saddened that the on-going production is having so many problems... Now, I do have a 50th Anniversary 44 Magnum Blackhawk...

Mine is a mid-80s 444S, which I’m looking at customizing, doing much of the work myself. See, now that’s a good idea. The factory 444 barrels are stupid-heavy.

Not sure what your specific rqmts would be, but I just bought a Taurus 605 in .357 mag. I will probably shoot nothing hotter than +P and it will be my carry gun. All of the reviews I read on it gave it really high marks and it was like $285...

Not sure exactly what your question is, but some history of the mould may help you out: The 358156 was intended to allow use of the bullet in 357 Magnums, when all one had was 38 Spl. brass. During the war, the big one, and a few years...

If I'm reading right that would be a whole new reamer and such, It came up several times in my earlier attempt at finding some info on how to go about this but I didn't read into how the system works. Right now for the money it does not make sense...

Curious to hear what the various lever actions out there will not feed with in 38 and 357. I know some have issues with full wad cutters. I've played with one that seems to eat everything but curious if anyone out there that has run into something...

Hopefully someday someone (not me) will write a book on 310 tools at least in their current state and use and include stuff like die dimensions and considerations for those making die accessories or parts at home.

Understood, I'll see if I have a collet that can take a 30/30 case and modify a few of them for the purpose. This is why I've kept a old coffee can around with bad cases (flaws in the neck etc) I always seem to have a use for cases that are no...

Excellent information Did you just cut the neck off the case and drill the back of the case so the reamer could pass through? Did you measure your progress any other way? My reamer has a round handle with a flat so I may have to machine a...

Working on a NEF SB1 30-30 rifle barrel that has no or very little throat. I can't chamber some of my cast loads in it and even some jacketed factory rounds are tight. I have a 30 caliber throating reamer but have never needed to throat a barrel...

I have a decent "universal" sight pusher but half the time a brass or steel drift and a small hammer with the work in the vise (work rigidity is key) is all I ever need. I'll even take a vise with me to the range if I need to work on something while...

I have done at least 1 firing pin repair that I can remember by rolling the pin on a strike plate (or flat anvil, emphasis on flat) and gently GENTLY hammering it to stretch it out. This is of course assuming the pin is a straight pin with no strike...
