kens replied to a thread Rehydrate Dried Out Cigars? in Our Town
I have not had good luck rehydrating. I would not mist them, if they are too wet they may come apart. I would put them in the humidor with a heavy dose of moisture for quite some time, and try to let them absorb moisture content slowly. Another...

That video looked like nice clean lead. I think that little bit of stuff that gathers up on top is just oxidation. Its always there, when you heat something to 600 degrees and such. you can flux it till the cows come home, and you still get...

I have a question about the 1911, In the movie "Titanic" the villain had a nickel 1911. Is it possible for him to have a civilian 1911 on the Titanic when it sank? Possible to have it in nickel in that time also?

Not sure here about the question, Are you asking if 9mm is difficult to feed properly? Difficult to shoot accurately? Difficult to prevent leading? As far as the rifle calibers you mentioned above, most all of them are fast twist off the shelf....

I been thinking of that also in recent years. Here is my take on it, We all know about the scent thing, and color blindness, and movement, and the bucks getting stupid in the peak rut, I'm not going into all that....... But, I do believe in the...

I just think that the high speed calibers are uncomfortable when up in a tree stand, where you often shoot in a awkward position, that is where I rather have less caliber, for the recoil, and report. Maybe I flinch a lot. As long as you get the...

I played around with the copper enriched alloy, and I got the oatmeal looking stuff. It took a lot of sawdust fluxing and it melted back in, but the bullets casted difficult, and higher temp than regular alloy.
