    43, 43X, are different than the 48. the 48 has the staggared magazine (10 round) where the 43 has straight stack mag. the 48 grip with the slight stagger mag has a thicker grip than 43.

    What is that? Did you take a .41colt pistol barrel blank (unchambered), and breech it for a muzzleloader? so, its got the .41 pistol twist rate and bore/groove of the .41colt???

    yup, +1 besides, the inlines as they are with sabots, powerbelts, pellet powder, primers, they are already equal to 45-70. May was well call it a single shot 45-70. why need that?

    when I shot the skeet & trap with muzzle loader, we could regulate pattern (choke) with powder charge. Less powder (velocity) held a tighter pattern. Higher velocity opened up the pattern And shot charge could go pretty big

    I used to shoot trap & skeet at Friendship, In. yes, those shotguns are lot of fun. Some guns could accept standard plastic wads, made loading a breeze.

    I think all our favorite bullets are the ones coming from the easiest mold to use. My favorite is a truncated cone that just falls out of the mold. and it shoots good too!

    I guess we all have seen that other tacticool levergun, mossberg. what a hideous thing. Here is a video on Henry' take on tactical lever gun. I think it is not bad. As far as looks it is a long way ahead of the mossberg. What you think??...
