In 1990, my ex walked off with my original 1972 Rock Chucker during the divorce. After years of using other presses, I finally bought one off Epay that was described as "in good condtion". It was a 1972 also and, after extensive machining/repair,...

I have a one of those "work benches" sold in the big box stores.....metal framework, one middle drawer and a top from an old office desk. I mounted two pieces of 2" C channel to the right side, 10" long and about 8" apart. I drilled and tapped one...

I just checked the rifle, and it indeed has an "N" stamped on the barrel right at the action. Due to your post and information I have a much better idea of what reloading will entail. Thanks again!

I have a '71 that was built after WWI, when the Germans were prohibited from manufacturing military rifles. They tastefully replaced the barrel with a long .410 tube and made a nice little single shot shotgun instead. My mother bought it in a small...

So, the D bullet is basically a heeled projectile? I have a Lebel shortened by the French, circa 1935 and have never fired it. When I get around to it this is good information to have and I'll check the neck clearances carefully. Thank you! We...

Back in the "good old days" (early ninties) one of the major surplus dealers was offering No.1 MKIII * rifles at $39.95 each. My work buddy and I ordered a batch of five and really didn't expect much. The rifles showed up wearing all manner of wood...

That's it.........I'd forgotten about the Idaho Laboratories connection. I'll try to contact them and see what's up. Thanks!

A little over two years ago, the firearms world was set ablaze........for a new rear sight that eliminated the age old problem of the human eye not being able to focus on two things at once. It was a small aperture sight, perhaps 1/4"...

Ironic..........I just got back from the range after trying out a 130 grain boolit in my M1. I've been using 10 grains of 2400, which cycles the gun quite nicely but the accuracy is not quite what I want. Now, it may be my 69 year old eyes but in...

If there is an "S" stamped on top of the receiver ring, it was rebored to accept the .323 spitzer bullet. This does NOT mean you should use military full pressure loads, even thought the Germans thought it was safe. They shoot cast boolits...

Are you using these two calibers in a semi-auto rifle or bolt gun? Loads for a semi should be full length resized always...neck sizing is used when the brass is fired in the same (bolt) gun all the time, and as a result the brass lasts much longer....

I have one of the many Yugo 8mm's imported years ago. The gun had a beautiful bore but a counter bored muzzle, so I lopped off about three inches of barrel, reset the front sight and shaped the stock into a fair representation of those cute Iranian...

I use my 310 tool for most of my "military" calibers, i.e. 30-06, 303 Brit., 7.7 Jap, etc. simply because it neck sizes the brass and it lasts longer. The added benefit is that I can take my entire reloading setup on a trip, contained in a .50 cal...
